Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Printing Operator to join our team at StarTech Multimedia Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing machines to ensure the production of high-quality printed materials. You will oversee the entire printing process, from preparing machines to inspecting final outputs for accuracy and quality. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain printing machines (e.g., offset printers, digital printers, screen printers).
- Perform pre-press duties, including loading paper and ink, adjusting press controls, and ensuring proper calibration.
- Monitor printing operations to ensure the desired results and maintain high-quality output.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, resolve technical issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Inspect printed materials for clarity, color accuracy, registration, and other quality standards.
- Maintain records of production data, including machine usage, job progress, and materials consumed.
- Monitor printing operations to ensure the desired results and maintain high-quality output.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a printing operator, preferably with offset, digital, or large-format printing equipment.
- Strong understanding of printing techniques, color management, and production processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot printing machine problems and perform basic repairs.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in printing technology is a plus.
